Well hello, happy fall still... I am just soaking it all up while I can. Its been such a beautiful season here in Colorado for us. Sunny and crisp everyday. Of course being a North-westerner, I wouldn't mind a little more rain, but thats a fine line, so I'm not complaining.
We have been busy lately!! I seriously could use a slow down button right now. Remember when I used to joke about how Kyle had the easiest schedule for a Doctor that I had ever seen, especially when we first moved here. Well, the tables have turned. I take it all back. He has been working 12-13 hour days this week. He has an inspection coming up for his unit, getting ready to spend the week out in the field, and has been on sick call. The combination of it all has not been a fun one for him. I took Quinn and some snacks into the office so he could see her once that day while she was awake. Good news is, it'll get better. My work has still been going great. I really enjoy all the people there and am loving what I do. Our sitter situation has been perfect, so nothing new really to report there.
So for fall, we recently went to the pumpkin patch with a group of our friends. We all have little ones around the same age so it was fun to take pictures there. Quinn loved the pumpkins! She is quick to smile anyways, but those were definitely entertaining for her. Afterwards, we all decided to go grab lunch before we headed home. The patch is about 45 minutes away from our home and kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Someone from the patch recommended this cafe about 5 miles down the road. We stopped there but it was too crowded and small to accommodate our party of 9. We decided to head across the street where we saw this other restaurant. The name of the place escapes my mind, but every horrifying detail inside the place does not... Now that I think of it, I think Goose may have been part of the name? I dunno. Now, I am definitely not a snob. I couldn't care about whether I am drinking boxed wine or $100 bottle of wine, bologna or salami from Italy.... As long as I know its sanitary! Lets just say this place looked like your grandmas estate sale from the inside. All hanging from the ceiling, collecting dust, and waiting to fall onto your food at any given time. I lost my appetite upon arrival. Kyle on the other hand, decided to indulge in the buffet. THE BUFFET! I made him at least promise me that he wasn't going to eat the fried shrimp (with geriatric hair). It was a good memory regardless and no harm, no foul. Kyle continues to live to see another day.
Silly girl. Loves leaves and loves trying to eat them.
I found this wagon at an antique store in town for our family pictures and Quinn has been loving taking rides around the neighborhood in it.
Thank you to my Aunt who made these adorable boots for Quinn!
Quinn and her new kitty. She's only a pound and a half! Sweet little lady. Coming up this weekend we have a Where's Waldo fun run. Halloween weekend we are having a get together at our house and the weekend after that we are headed to Crested Butte! Lots to look forward to!
